[Empress] [Multiple Heroines] [Alternate History] [Farming]
Master the most unsophisticated dog-paddle, then get the worst possible start.
Hua Yun, a recent university graduate, never imagined that while practicing the dog-paddle in the river near his village, one deep dive would land him in the ancient Great Zhou Dynasty.
He lands straight in “Hell Mode”:
He’s the son of a disgraced general, and his family is dirt poor. But that’s not all: assassins from across the city are lining up to send him to his death!
Hua Yun: “I just want to lie flat in peace. Why are you forcing me to flip the table?”
With nowhere left to retreat, he’ll stop hiding!
Infrastructure: Modern knowledge gives him an overwhelming edge, turning wasteland into a gold mine.
Strategy: Masterful military tactics sweep through entire armies, turning battered troops into legendary generals.
The ending: If no one else can hold this realm together, then I’ll take the throne myself!
From an abandoned son fallen on hard times to a warlord in a chaotic age, Hua Yun proves with his deeds that with the right kind of audacity, even the dog-paddle can carry him into the Empress’s bedchamber and help him carve out an empire that lasts for generations…
I've read a lot of time-travel novels, and this one is good. The more I read, the better it gets. The plot is compact and not procrastinating, and the introduction of things doesn't leave any gaps. The narrative is detailed and updated quickly.
