War of Resistance: I Mine My Way to a Million-Man Army

Military + farming and infrastructure development + wish fulfillment + gaming + ensemble cast Nine streamers, fifty million in prize money, and an all-out war in eighteen months. The official Shanhe Beacon Fire tournament invites nine players to team up in a defensive match. The winners split fifty million; the losers get nothing. The public chat is in an uproar: the Sichuan Army says it has no money, the Yunnan Army wants rifles, and the Central Army wants to be “commander-in-chief.” Guangxi Army streamer He Qirui stays silent the whole time. While everyone else is building up their troops, he is repairing roads and mining. “If you want to get rich, build roads first.” They mock him for six months. Then Chen Jinnan's Central Army is surrounded and annihilated in Beiping, and He Qirui brings out the most luxurious mechanized force on the entire map. Tanks, artillery, aircraft, everything you could ask for. The public chat explodes: “You built roads and got tanks out of it?!” He Qirui flicks away some ash. “I told you, if you want to get rich, build roads first.”
