While participating in the archaeological excavation of Dingjun Mountain, Liu Qi, a doctor of history, accidentally traveled to Liu Chan, the later lord of the Shu Han Dynasty during the Three Kingdoms period, on the eve of Zhuge Liang's Sixth Northern Expedition. He was familiar with history and determined to rewrite the tragedy of "died before leaving the army". With modern knowledge and historical insight, he helped Zhuge Liang realize the great cause of the Northern Expedition and recreate the glory of the Han Dynasty.
