Lorne, the youngest quartermaster in the empire, was framed as the criminal who killed 30,000 border troops and was exiled to Black Salt City where everyone was waiting to die. Everyone thought he would die in the demon tide and famine, but he was the only one who activated the ancient war legacy "Military Seal" and was able to integrate food, military equipment, magic crystals, residual soldiers and monsters into the same supply chain. From refugees and criminal soldiers to wolves and heretics, he reorganized a group of people who were sentenced to death by the old order into a legion, and turned the abandoned dead city into the most terrifying new force on the border.
