Dreams Drift Away on the Wind

"Many, many years ago, that girl began to wait and keep watch.

She believed in the end of the earth and the drying of the seas,

believed in 'holding hands and growing old together,'

believed in unchanging promises and legends that never grow old...

She didn't care about others' abundant harvests, only whether she could still protect that pure sky in her heart."

-- A Dream Carried by the Wind, March 30, 2001

When you wrote that letter back then, did you ever imagine?

That twenty-five years later, someone would still be reading it in silence;

that someone would still be secretly wiping away tears;

that someone would use the experiences of twenty-five years

to answer the soul from twenty-five years ago,

to answer that dream carried by the wind from twenty-five years ago!
