“No romance in the jungle?”
“Sorry, he’s getting both the championship and me.”
Genius entry fragger Jiang Lin (Judge) was punished for mocking pro players on stream by being signed to the struggling FireFly team, which was on the verge of disbanding.
Faced with a base so broke it had nothing but instant noodles, teammates so bad they could barely play, and a “pretty-boy coach” who didn’t even have a game account, he let his sharp tongue fly:
“Do you guys play matches by praying to the computer?”
Then, late one night
He caught Lu Chen using the mysterious account [Seven], landing headshots with every shot. The plays were unmistakably those of Liar, the sniping god who had vanished three years ago!
To save the team, Lu Chen put on a rookie’s secret identity and entered the competition himself.
When Jiang Lin taunted him in the match chat, “Seven, save me, or I’ll report you for account boosting,”
the man turned the game around in a 1v4 and replied with a smile, “Judge, three hours of extra practice tonight.”
A conspiracy was quietly closing in:
Lu Chen’s hand injury had been deliberately caused,
Jiang Lin was falsely accused of throwing matches and caught in a storm of controversy,
and in FireFly’s do-or-die match, their opponents banned every sniper rifle
Jiang Lin sneered and picked up an off-meta shotgun. “You really thought I only knew how to snipe?”
In front of everyone, Lu Chen laid bare the wound from three years ago: “You ruined me back then. Now you want to ruin him too?”
At the moment of victory, Lu Chen announced his retirement: “My era is over.”
Jiang Lin snatched the microphone and set the internet ablaze:
“FireFly’s new coach has the ID Liar
and by the way, your alt account Seven’s romance System is linked to me.”
