The Fourth Calamity: The Rise of Humanity

That day, four meteorites wrapped in flames hot enough to scorch the heavens tore across the sky, trailing long tails of fire like curses cast down by the gods, and crashed violently into the four corners of the Aes Continent. The first Cataclysm: the Beast Tide. The second Cataclysm: the Insect Tide. The third Cataclysm: the Abyss. The flame of human civilization was on the verge of going out when the fourth meteorite hatched that day, bringing the fourth Cataclysm, one belonging to the alien races.
