Chen thinks his transmigration has been truly unlucky.
Other people who transmigrate into the Primordial World at least get to have a sip of soup before taking a beating. He got it worse: he arrived as a Chaos Demon God, and the moment he opened his eyes, Pangu was splitting heaven and earth. That axe came straight for his forehead.
At the critical moment, he split the three parts of his soul, "greed, anger, and delusion," and sent them into the Myriad Worlds to form karmic ties with the chosen protagonists from I Eat Tomatoes's novels. His true body would lie low in the Primordial World while his clones roamed freely in other realms. Karma would flow back to him, and his magic power would soar.
It was a perfect plan, and his clones were doing great.
But as he slept, Chen sensed something vaguely troubling: all the clones he had sent out seemed to be women.
That alone might have been fine. The problem was that the protagonists in I Eat Tomatoes's universe were all hopeless romantics. Ji Ning's Dao companion died, and he cultivated for billions of years just to bring her back to life. Qin Yu fought his way from the mortal realm to the Great Cosmos for Jiang Li. Luo Feng would even take on Universe Masters for the sake of his family.
The more Chen thought about it, the more uneasy he became. What if one of his clones fell for a protagonist, and all those heaven-defying heroes followed the karmic threads back to slap him in the face?
"I'm warning you," Chen shouted inwardly at the three karmic threads. "Don't cause trouble. I'm straight. If you end up turning gay, don't come back and cry to me!"
The karmic threads didn't budge. He couldn't tell whether they hadn't heard him or were pretending not to.
Three karmic threads, three worlds, three clones: one steals, one charges in headfirst, and one muddles through. Chen lay in the chaos, healing his wounds and praying: Don't fall in love, don't fall in love, don't fall in love.
As a Chaos God and Demon, his status seems to have been lowered.
