Reborn as Basketball's Chosen One

Lin Hao brings his knowledge of basketball from 2023 back to 2005.

His first preseason game is against Kobe at the peak of his career.

Everyone says he’s going to get crushed.

Kobe says, “You can’t guard me.”

Lin Hao wipes away his sweat. “I know. But you couldn’t guard me either.”

From Philadelphia to Chicago, from rookie to legend.

Some say he plays with his head, others say it’s all natural talent.

Only she knows the truth:

Every time he falls, he gets a message:

“You’re still running.”

And then he really does get back up.

This isn’t a story about basketball.

It’s a story about coming home.

Five years later, he stands in the Staples Center, holding his fifth championship trophy.

A reporter asks, “What’s your secret?”

He says, “Follow the training. Don’t make decisions.”

In the stands, she takes off her mask and smiles.
