Pei Zhen's Tenderness Belongs to Wang Manni Alone

Pei Zhen casts off every shackle of Zhuling Group and leaves the turmoil back home behind, heading alone to Edinburgh. Working quietly as an architectural history researcher, he keeps out of sight, his cool, distant eyes concealing a heartache not yet healed.

Wang Manni leaves behind her years as a drifter in Shanghai and the pain of heartbreak, traveling abroad to further her studies. Independent and clearheaded, she moves steadily forward, focused only on improving herself and finding her own rhythm again.

A cold rain brings the two wounded souls together by chance in a bookstore.

There is no deliberate pursuit and no pressure. As they spend their days together, the ice around their hearts melts away.

The world sees only how detached and unapproachable he is. Only Wang Manni gets to see the affection and tenderness he shows once he lets down his guard. The two souls heal each other, and at last find their happy ending.
