Brief introduction to the background of the Sixth Treasury:
When the Qing army entered the customs, they transported a large amount of gold, silver and jewelry plundered from the Central Plains back to the Northeast. A total of six treasuries were built, including Longxing Treasury, Shengjing Zuoku, Shengjing Youku, Jinou Cangku, Boxitun Treasury, and Asiha Treasury.
During the Shunzhi and Kangxi years, Longxing Ku, Shengjing Zuoku, Shengjing Youku, Jinou Zangku and Boxi Tunku were successively requisitioned, but only Asihaku was never opened.
Emperor Kangxi issued a secret decree that this treasury would not be used unless the Qing Dynasty was destroyed. He sealed the treasury and left it to future generations as a last resort.
