“If it has a health bar, then I can kill even a god.”
Su Zhou entered an infinite game called “Nightmare Dimension.”
The monsters here were indescribable, and every instance was a hair’s breadth from death.
Veteran player: “That stitched monster weighs three tons, and its Strength is at least 50. Retreat!”
Su Zhou: “No, it’s raising its arm. That’s a free heavy attack.”
“Clang!”
With a crisp clang of steel, Su Zhou blocked the enormous stitched monster with nothing but a broken blade!
“Deflect!”
Su Zhou ran along the monster’s spear, his blade flashing across its throat. A finishing move!
[Shinobi Execution!]
From Sekiro’s perfect deflects, to Dark Souls’ invincibility-frame rolls, to Devil May Cry’s SSS-rank style ratings.
Su Zhou realized that as long as his execution was steady, this so-called infinite game was nothing more than one enormous single-player road to getting killed.
