Phigros: The Final Overture

In the year 770, at the lowest level of the virtual world “Pixel Tower”: Frozen.

While gathering samples on the snowy plains, the composer Jiu was found by Gino, a member of the Seventh Squad, and brought back to camp. She has a recorder called Alpa, the only gift her older brother ever left her. She believes that everything in this world is music: the wind, falling snow, and heartbeats are all melodies waiting to be written.

But this world is collapsing. The “Babel” wormhole has begun swallowing everything, and the deep-blue boundary is surging upward level by level from the bottom. As Jiu and Gino flee, they gradually discover that Pixel Tower isn’t real, and neither of them is “human.”

This is a journey about memory and forgetting, reality and illusion. As the world nears its end, Jiu must use her final composition to write an elegy for everything that has “ever existed.”

Some melodies exist only to preserve what we remember. [This novel is for reference only and is not the original Phigros storyline. I’ve also added elements from my own imagination. The novel is planned to have 70 chapters (Note: Chapter Zero is the prologue and is not included in the chapter count) and 11 volumes (8 volumes of main-story chapters, 3 volumes of side stories, and 1 prologue volume, with one side story combined with the main story in a single volume).
