Until she turned eighteen, Mu Qingqing had always been a good girl in everyone else's eyes. Her life was as calm as still water. It wasn't that she got great grades or worked especially hard; she was simply well-behaved and had never done anything out of line. Her grades weren't great, and she was always a bit of a country bumpkin, until the year she entered her second year of high school and was sent to live with her aunt. Her aunt was a famous folk singer, and the unfamiliar city felt free. It cracked open the orderly life Mu Qingqing had always known. It was there that she met Qiu Yan, who would change her life completely. She also found the happiest days of her life, and met that special someone.
This is a very simple, understated novel, but it's still very sweet.
