In the battle between the real and fake Monkey King, the real Sun Wukong is dead.
Later, the "Sun Wukong" who escorted Tang Monk to the West to obtain Buddhist scriptures and was named the Fighting and Victorious Buddha was actually just a "controllable Monkey King" image created by the six-eared macaques, Tianting and Lingshan - he inherited Wukong's name, Wukong's stick, and Wukong's cause and effect, but he was not the real monkey who jumped out of the stone eggs of Huaguo Mountain and dared to pierce the sky.
On the day when the real Sun Wukong was suppressed by the Tathagata, when it was difficult to distinguish between true and false, and the Buddhas were silent, his soul was not dispersed, but was pressed into the gap between the three realms, gnawed by billions of obsessions, and turned into an immortal soul.
After successfully learning from the experience, the Three Realms seemed peaceful, but in fact the order was even stricter than before. Heaven uses scriptures to stabilize the incense in the world, Lingshan uses Mahayana Buddhism to gather the wishes of all living beings, the underworld is rewoven into the book of life and death, and the dragon clan of the four seas, the ten halls of Yama, the twenty-eight constellations, and the gods and Buddhas all over the sky have become chess pieces. The Huaguo Mountain was canonized, but the Qitian Banner became a dead object enshrined in the temple; the mountain of freedom in the past became a tomb locked by incense and the name of the god.
At this moment, Patriarch Bodhi found the remnant soul of Wukong in the void, and used the technique of "reverse the effect as the cause" to let it be reborn through an unknown monster corpse buried in a mass grave. After rebirth, Wukong is no longer the victorious Buddha of Buddhism, nor the demon monkey in heaven. When he woke up from the dead, his first words were:
"Who has lived this life for me?"
But Patriarch Bodhi only told him:
"If you want to take revenge, first remember - Liu Er is not the only one who kills you."
