Demon Slayer: Breath of the Forgotten

He doesn’t know who he is. He doesn’t know where he came from or why he appeared in this world of demons. He knows only one thing: his body instinctively moves to protect others.

Kanae Kocho says, “The way you fight without caring whether you live or die, you’ll end up dead sooner or later.”

Shinobu Kocho says, “You idiot, can’t you think about yourself for once?”

He smiles but says nothing. He has no memories, so his life was a gift in the first place.

Using a life he was given to protect the people he cares about is a worthwhile trade. At least, that’s what he believes.

On the day of the final battle at the Infinity Castle, Muzan’s claws pierce his chest. He clutches Muzan and drags him toward the sunlight.

Behind him, the Kocho Sisters are crying.

He is smiling.

“I remember now... In my previous life, I died saving someone. In this life, I got to save you... It was worth it.”

A man with no memories gives his life to find the answer across two lifetimes.
