What Should I Do About This Creepy Ghost Who Loves Me Too Much?

#One-on-one romance, two male leads, both pure, devoted and possessive male ghost top × timid, ghost-fearing writer bottom, sweet romance, mild horror# Lin Yan is a horror novelist who’s been timid since birth. His birth chart lacks light, and he’s always been terrified of ghosts. In search of inspiration, he moves into a century-old ancestral mansion shrouded in gloom. He finds no inspiration, but instead runs into the “real owner” of the house, who has been waiting for him for a hundred years. The male ghost is Xie Heng: handsome, powerful, and terrifyingly devoted. He calls Lin Yan “A-Yan” at every turn, insisting that he is the young master of the Shen family who abandoned him a hundred years ago and sailed off to the West. He crushes evil spirits with ease, then gives Lin Yan all the credit. Overnight, Lin Yan goes from a beleaguered writer to an all-powerful “exorcism master” in the villagers’ eyes. Lin Yan is at his wit’s end. By day, he has to play the part of a master before the villagers, trembling as he “fights demons and drives out evil.” By night, this possessive old ghost corners him in his bedroom, asking again and again in a cold yet tender voice, “A-Yan, when will you finally remember me?” It all changes when a dragon-patterned jade pendant he picked up by chance brings to light a long-buried story from the Republic of China era. A frail young master in his past life, a timid writer in this one. A loyal bodyguard, a lover driven mad by obsession. As the eerie mists in the depths of the ancestral mansion are peeled away layer by layer, Lin Yan faces an ancient village plagued by ghosts. He realizes he has to catch ghosts with one hand, keep writing with the other, and... fall in love across the boundary between life and death.
