Blood Moon for All: I Inherited the Underworld from the Start

No-brainer power fantasy [feel-good thrills + no female lead + wild cultivation ideas + shelter building + horror elements]

The Blood Moon descends upon the world, and every night terrifying monsters roam the earth. To survive, everyone must awaken their abilities at eighteen and build a “shelter.”

As his classmates awaken powerful defenses such as the “Church of Light,” “Steel Fortress,” and “Mechanical Fortress,” Lin Yuan awakens a dilapidated “paper effigy shop.” The whole school laughs at him, saying he’s doomed from the start and won’t make it through the first Blood Moon night.

Little do they know, the paper effigy shop holds a world within: the long-lost underworld!

Deep in the Blood Moon, several indescribable ancient evil gods watch the monstrous army being surrounded in turn by the 100,000 Yin soldiers, Ox-Head and Horse-Face, and Black and White Impermanence that Lin Yuan commands. They’re plunged into deep self-doubt: Didn’t this guy start out with nothing but a drafty, dilapidated paper effigy shop? How come he looks more like the villain than we do now?!
