Su Yan, former leader of the provincial public security department’s major crimes unit, is shot and killed while pursuing a serial murderer. The moment she opens her eyes, she’s dragged into a deadly game called “Infinite Murder Cases.”
Each instance recreates a real-life cold case. Players must identify the culprit before time runs out, or be erased on the spot.
While other players cling to powerful allies, avoid NPCs, and beg for their lives, she pulls on her gloves and heads straight to the crime scene. An autopsy pins down the time of death. Trace evidence reconstructs the method. Profiling nails the killer’s identity. While everyone else is still searching for a way inside, she has already cornered the murderer with nowhere left to hide.
Others rely on luck to survive. She makes a name for herself through criminal investigation skills.
Even Lu Chen, the SSS-rank powerhouse feared throughout the game and undefeated to date, is content to hand her the evidence kit, coldly blocking every hostile gaze. “Quiet, everyone. Don’t disturb her while she examines the scene.”
But as Su Yan cracks one instance after another, she discovers that these seemingly unrelated cold cases are all intricately connected to the murder she failed to solve years ago.
