Behind the Qing Curtain: A Live Broadcast of the Nine Princes’ Succession War

In the autumn of Kangxi's forty-seventh year, a sky screen suddenly appears over the capital, and the voice of Su Yan, a history streamer from the future, echoes through the Forbidden City:

“Welcome to ‘Tales from the Qing Palace Archives.’ Today, we'll discuss how the Nine Princes' Succession Strife ends.”

Crown Prince Yinsi learns that he will be deposed twice. Eighth Prince Yinsi hears that his name will be changed to “Aqina,” and that he will be stripped of his imperial status and title. Fourth Prince Yinzhen sees that, though he will ascend the throne, he will bear the infamy of murdering his father and die from exhaustion on the imperial throne.

Kangxi gazes at the sky screen and falls silent. If the ending is already set, what choice should he make?

Unaware of what is happening, Su Yan's educational livestream is pushing the Qing dynasty toward an unpredictable upheaval...
