No System: Surviving an Ancient Apocalypse, Starting by Killing

The first few chapters have some rough spots, but it gets better later. [Zombies] [Survival] [Conquest] [No System] [Character Growth] [Passionate] [Decisive and Ruthless] [Ancient Setting] [Another World] [Zombie Survival] [Conquest of the Realm] [Rise from Humble Beginnings] [Passionate Combat + No System + Ancient Apocalypse + Factional Conquest] A blood meteor fell from the sky, and an alien virus swept across the Great Xia Dynasty! The lofty court officials turned into bloodthirsty fiends, while millions of starving refugees and the army sent to suppress the rebellion became a mindless sea of corpses. A feudal order that had endured for centuries collapsed in an instant. Xu Biao, chief of Black Wind Stronghold, was an outlaw in every sense of the word. The court had ceased to function, and the emperor had become a zombie. While others saw the apocalypse as a cataclysm that would destroy the world, Xu Biao saw it as the start of a celebration! “What county magistrate? What imperial authority? From now on, the blade in my hand is the law!” Using his stronghold’s natural defenses, which were easy to defend and hard to attack, Xu Biao led eight hundred hardened bandits into battle. Bathed in zombie blood and devouring the blood crystals from the meteorites, he fought his way through the zombies and warlords. When a mutated Zombie King laid siege to the stronghold, and the surviving imperial cavalry tried to absorb Black Wind Stronghold, Xu Biao cut down their dragon banner with a single stroke. “If this realm is rotten to the core, then I’ll be its King of Hell!” A friendly reminder: don’t overthink it.
