In the back hills behind Jiuli Village lie two eerie caves, one cold and one hot. No living thing that enters has ever come back alive.
The village chief and his wife, greedy for money, set their sights on Shi Long, the village fool and guardian. They trick him into entering a cave with nothing more than a meal.
By chance, Shi Long inherits the legacy of his ancestor Chiyou, along with the supreme treasure, the Soul-Sealing Pearl.
At the same time, the world undergoes a cataclysm: seals shatter, spiritual qi revives, and demons and monsters run rampant across the land.
Reclusive masters of ancient martial arts and powerful cultivators emerge from hiding, all seeking to exterminate demons and claim immortality.
Dismissed as a pawn, Shi Long discovers that not only is he unafraid of demons, he can devour and refine their energy!
When his extraordinary ability is exposed, watch as the boy once dismissed as a fool strengthens his soul, regains his mind, and sets out on the path to immortality, using the might of the Wu Clan to suppress a chaotic age!
