Su Heng was once a top-tier layabout in the former Main God Space. After refusing to join the rat race for eight hundred years, she was exiled and bound to the [System for Tragic-Novel Heroines]. Her mission: transmigrate through three thousand worlds and experience the standard tragic-novel package, from being choked and having her kidneys ripped out to the hero chasing his wife to the crematorium.
The System sneered. “Meet your KPIs, and you can retire with honors.”
Su Heng opened the backend and, with practiced ease, entered a former administrator’s employee ID and dragged the mission tab into the recycle bin.
“Retire?” She yawned. “I’m going to lie flat right now.”
And so, when an Immortal Venerable pushed her from the Execution Platform, she changed her coordinates midair and landed squarely in the soup pot of the New Oriental Cultivation Branch. When a CEO locked her in his mansion, she set up a “Layabout Homestay” and livestreamed him making instant noodles in the middle of the night.
The System broke down. “Host! The plot! What happened to your tragic romance arc?!”
Su Heng reclined in a rocking chair she had just conjured into existence, sipping iced coconut juice. “I changed it. It’s now A Lie-Flat Observer’s Log of Three Thousand Worlds.”
She smiled at the myriad little worlds. “Want to torment me? Take a number and get in line. Friendly reminder: the wait is currently three thousand worlds.”
