Synopsis

Shen Yanzhi, a genius of the Huashan Sword Sect, is ambushed by his fellow disciples and falls off a cliff. When he wakes, he has landed in the world of The Walking Dead, overrun by walkers.

His sword is broken, and he has only thirty percent of his internal energy left. He understands no English and knows nothing about guns, yet he cuts through the dead end of the apocalypse with a single sword. He disarms Rick and leaves him stunned, clears out walkers with sword energy to save Glenn, and uses his lightness skills to sneak out at night and badly wound the Governor.

But the people he truly changes are the women who were destined for tragic fates in the original story:

**Maggie** learns the Huashan sword style and eventually becomes a leader in her own right, without losing the one she loves. **Jessie**, under his protection, escapes the fate of being killed by Negan in the comics. **Ada Wong**, a mysterious agent who never belonged in this place, finds someone to care about in the apocalypse because of him, and warmth stirs beneath her icy mask.

As hordes of walkers surge and human hearts grow even crueler, an eastern broken sword carves out a new ending for them.
