A Second-Generation Transmigrator Is Forced to Marry a Man and Play Politics

(What happened after the transmigrated woman left?) [A feel-good story with a motherly female lead + strong heroine + reverse harem + hated by all to loved by all] I’m a second-generation transmigrator, the only princess in the dynasty with the title of prince, and my mother left me a tricky “inheritance” in the form of a household full of husbands and male concubines. My late mother’s lifelong dream was to put me on the throne. Sadly, she died young, my father went back on his word, and my younger brother got the throne instead. And so I became the most awkward person in the capital. Women admire me, sour old scholars call me an upstart woman usurping a man’s role, and my younger brother is a sister-obsessed slacker who just wants to lie flat. As for my several male consorts? Hostages from enemy states, fallen young gentlemen, heirs cast out by their families... Every one of them hides a knife in his eyes and hates me to the core. What a joke. What do they know? I take male concubines because, as my mother instructed, I’m giving these beautiful, gifted, yet ill-fated men a place to shelter. I meddle in politics to steady the realm for my good-for-nothing brother. Love? I’m too busy approving memorials for the emperor, who keeps skipping work. Then one day, the whole script went off the rails The distant, courteous husband became a jealous man; The embittered hostage from an enemy state willingly became a pawn; The proud son of a disgraced minister offered me his awkward, earnest love; The vicious family outcast transformed into a clingy, lovesick hound; The worldly man who wielded gentleness like a blade turned into a sly little schemer; Even the bodyguard, who knew nothing but loyalty and had no understanding of love, fell for me. About how my long-suffering male concubines suddenly stopped hating me and started competing to outdo one another# About how my sister-obsessed brother keeps trying to dump the throne on me# Mother, the crematorium you left behind seems to be burning in the wrong direction...#
