Uncle Four, It's Me, Yunwen! I'm Back from Conquering Europe

“Fourth Uncle, I’ve missed you so much!”

“Back during the Jingnan Campaign, I accepted my defeat without complaint. That’s why I went overseas to reflect for ten years, and now I’m back to seek your guidance again!”

The thing Zhu Di regretted most in his life was pushing Zhu Yunwen too hard.

On the day he won the Jingnan Campaign, he watched the imperial palace burn and thought: That cowardly nephew of mine has probably turned to ash by now.

But he never imagined that Zhu Yunwen had not only survived, but had also done something that would make the whole world tremble.

In the first year, merchants from the Western Regions reported that an army of Easterners had appeared in Persia.

Zhu Di smiled. “Just a band of rebels. Nothing to worry about.”

In the third year, the Timurid Empire fell.

Zhu Di froze. “...What?”

In the fifth year, Byzantium surrendered, and the Ottoman Empire collapsed.

Zhu Di set down his teacup.

In the seventh year, all of Europe bowed beneath the iron hooves of a mysterious Eastern emperor.

Zhu Di leapt to his feet and slammed the table. “Investigate! Commit the entire Imperial Guards to the search! Find out who that man is!”

The tenth year.

The commander of the Imperial Guards knelt in the golden hall, trembling as he spoke the name that plunged Zhu Di into an icy abyss.

“Your Majesty... the man who conquered all of Europe...”

“...is the Jianwen Emperor.”

“It is... Zhu Yunwen.”

The nephew he had mocked as ignorant of warfare had conquered all of Europe.

The man he thought had died long ago was now leading an army of a million men on his way home.
