A lab accident leaves top scientist Gu Zhaozhao transmigrated into a little girl in the 1970s.
Too weak to lift or carry anything,
the original girl endured mistreatment alongside her spineless mother, was exploited by her wicked grandparents, and let her bratty little brother walk all over her.
After awakening a spiritual spring space, Gu Zhaozhao declares, “If anyone wants to live like this, they can do it themselves!”
She’s taking her mother to the military district to find her father.
Her grandparents won’t let them go?
Then she’ll send them flying sky-high, up alongside the sun.
Her scumbag dad won’t allow it?
Then she’ll act first and tell him later!
After countless hardships, Gu Zhaozhao finally reaches the military district, only to discover that the original girl’s father is a scumbag.
He already has another family in the military district, with a wife and daughter.
Gu Zhaozhao fights fire with fire and dumps her bratty little brother at her scumbag father’s house.
She has the whole scumbag-punishing routine down pat, leaving him no chance to turn things around.
To stay in the military district, Gu Zhaozhao helps her spineless mother win over an officer to become her new father.
Her new dad is young and successful. He keeps everyone at arm’s length outside, but at home he’s a henpecked doting dad who worships his daughter.
With him backing her, her mother rules the residential compound, while Gu Zhaozhao becomes its adored little tyrant, winning herself a crowd of admirers.
The one who likes her best is Jiang Lingzhou, the commander’s youngest son.
He sneaks her tasty treats, takes her fishing and fruit picking, and spoils her like a little sister.
Years later, Gu Zhaozhao finally realizes that Jiang Lingzhou has feelings for her…
Gu Zhaozhao helps her new dad capture enemy spies, earning him three promotions in a row and becoming a little hero in the residential compound.
Her life goes smoothly, and she even takes part in a major national research project.
Years later, when her down-and-out scumbag father sees Gu Zhaozhao again, it’s on the front page of the newspaper.
