I'm a post-90s kid. Back then, the sky was blue, the clouds were white, the moonlight at night was bright, and the Milky Way stretched long and glittering overhead. The streams were so clear you could drink from them, pheasants and rabbits ran everywhere, and the fields and ditches teemed with fish. I grew up in the countryside. My parents divorced when I was little, and I lived with my father in a small mountain village. After graduating from middle school, I left home to work and lived through the non-mainstream era. After my father passed away, I was at my lowest when I encountered a ray of light, but I couldn't be with the person I loved. My mother came back, but all that remained was her bitterness. The beauty of childhood became a thing of the past. I thought marriage would be a safe harbor, but I never expected it to be the start of another storm.
