Shichen was drawn back into primordial chaos by the origin of the laws, becoming one of the Three Thousand Demon Gods: the Time Demon God, Shichen.

At first, he was terrified!

After all, there was something that had come with him from the Age of Declining Dharma. It was called the World-Destroying Millstone.

Through cleverness and hard work, he survived the cataclysm of the world's creation.

Until, at last, he uttered these words:

“Across the ages, I alone endure the trials of time.

Through boundless aeons of primordial chaos, I proudly command the years.

As heaven and earth began, the four seasons and day and night emerged.

Within a single void lie the three realms; myriad calamities vanish in an instant.

All in Honghuang are but passersby; through the mortal world, I found freedom.

I see that all living beings in Honghuang are trapped. Can this calamity not be changed?

Can the great tide of fate not be turned?”

The World-Destroying Millstone was thrilled. “It can't be changed? Then I say we should bring the Age of Declining Dharma to an end and start over!”

Shichen said, “Time can resolve this calamity. What say you all?”
