In the future, humanity develops a technology for sharing physical sensations. Once two people are linked, they can share each other's pain, fatigue, emotional fluctuations, body temperature, and heartbeat in real time. Participation is voluntary, but the link cannot be broken for 72 hours, and afterward both parties must confirm the unlinking at the same time.
The protagonist is linked to a complete stranger, and their shared sensations cannot be blocked or faked. Every disguise falls apart in the face of the body's instincts.
