By the Mandate of Heaven, the Emperor decrees:

The Jianzhou Jurchens have repeatedly invaded our borders, killed our elders, seized our lands, and abducted our children. This hatred and grievance are etched into our bones.

Let this be proclaimed throughout the realm:

Any soldier or civilian of the Great Ming who captures or kills the rebel chieftain Huang Taiji shall be granted the title of Prince, hereditary in perpetuity;

Whoever captures or kills Dai Shan, Amin, or Manggultai shall be granted the title of Commandery Prince;

Whoever captures or kills a Banner Commander of the Eight Banners shall be granted the title of Duke;

Anyone who kills a hundred or more enemies shall be granted the title of Marquis;

Anyone who kills fifty or more shall be granted the title of Earl;

Anyone who kills ten or more shall receive a thousand taels of gold and the hereditary rank of a Vice Commander of the Embroidered Uniform Guard.

Once issued, this decree shall never be changed.

This decree shall remain in force until Jianzhou is destroyed;

The Han people shall never perish, and this hatred shall surely be avenged.

So decreed!
