The Gentle Art of Winning Over My Sweet-on-the-Outside, Dark-within Roommate

[Dual heroines + modern urban setting + rivals + workplace + sweet romance + both are each other’s only one]

As a partner at a top law firm, Leng Yueyin lives by just two rules: stay rational, and beat Wen Qingshu at everything.

Her rival of two years and live-in nemesis, Wen Qingshu, keeps erratic hours and loves to act innocent. She’s the biggest blemish on Leng Yueyin’s otherwise perfect life.

Until one day, Leng Yueyin realizes things are starting to get out of hand.

At a company dinner, someone tries to get her nemesis drunk. Leng Yueyin mocks her poor tolerance for alcohol while crushing the offender’s foot beneath the table with her high heel.

When a stranger pursues her, she swiftly sends a lawyer’s letter as a warning, only to be cornered in the kitchen by Wen Qingshu.

Wen Qingshu peels the last shrimp and brings it to her lips, her smile so tender it sends a chill down her spine.

“Attorney Leng, since you love meddling in my affairs so much, why not take charge of the rest of my life too?”

Only then does Leng Yueyin realize this was never an evenly matched contest.

Those perfectly timed late-night snacks, the workplace obstacles quietly cleared away, and their inescapable life together at home were all part of this seemingly sweet but cunning woman’s carefully laid trap!
