Crystal Bones Return to the Origin

I risked my life to kill a crystal-core beast so my younger sister could live in comfort inside the inner city.

That very night, the City Lord slaughtered the entire city in a blood sacrifice.

My sister took a fatal palm strike meant for me and died in my arms.

Holding her, I wiped away my tears and stood up.

“City Lord, my sister is afraid of the dark.”

“Go down and keep her company.”
