Jiang Mingdu

Ten years ago, Shen Wenxuan let the Xuan Yin Cult into the sect, and the entire Zhenjiang Sect was wiped out.

Ten years later, he has become a protector of the cult, hiding a sinister Gu in his sleeve and a broken jade pendant in his heart, playing both sides among the forces of darkness.

Until one night, amid ghostly mist over the river, he sees his one-armed junior brother again, along with a child clutching a jade token that has grown hot. The child is the last heir of the Du'e Sect, and the only hope of avenging the blood feud between the three sects.

The jade token is a "Purification Core," while the jade pendant is the "Dragon-Subduing Pendant." The day the two treasures resonate will be the day the Xuan Yin Cult's scheme is foiled.

But then words in blood suddenly appear on the back of the jade shard: "Senior Brother, Master isn't dead."

Shen Wenxuan clenches his fist until the shard crumbles in his palm. Have these ten years of humiliation and this name blackened with infamy been atonement for his sins, or part of yet another scheme?
