I found a version of myself.
She was covered in wounds,
but she smiled at me and said, "Don't be afraid. I'm here to save you."
She said she was me from the future.
She said a lot of terrible things would happen to me.
She taught me to be brave, to fight back, not to be so obedient, and to cry when I needed to cry and curse when I needed to curse.
I became more and more like her,
but she grew farther and farther away.
At last, one day, she said to me, "You don't need me anymore. I have to go."
Then she slowly disappeared right before my eyes.
I lost my future self.
But I think I've really become her.
