The Crown Prince Picks Up a Wish-Granting Child, and She Empties the Imperial Treasury

Found-family raising + devoted love + golden finger

“Big brother, do you have a wish? Zhaozhao is great at making wishes come true. I’ll definitely help you!”

In a ruined temple, the little girl in ragged clothes noticed that Murong Yan’an kept staring at the Buddha statue, so she decided to grant his wish.

Murong Yan’an didn’t believe in anything so strange, but when he met her pure, dark eyes, he somehow found himself telling her what he wished for.

Zhaozhao hurried to kneel before the statue, chattering away. The moment her words ended, the bright midday sky turned as dark as midnight, and raindrops as big as beans came pouring down.

Later on,

when Shen Zhaozhao made a wish, the entire palace descended into chaos. The emperor thought a gang of bandits had broken in!

Later still, Shen Zhaozhao wanted to wish the emperor dead. Murong Yan’an quickly talked her out of acting rashly, and she let it go.

Later, later still, Murong Yan’an decided to lie flat.

But Shen Zhaozhao couldn’t stand seeing the emperor bully him, so she secretly wished for the imperial treasury to be emptied.

She was a little girl abandoned by her family in the woods. After saving the crown prince, who was at death’s door, in the ruined temple where she had taken shelter, she never had to sleep rough again and was even bestowed the title of Princess Zhaohua.

He was a pitiful crown prince whom the emperor used to control the other princes and shore up his own position. Branded with a false accusation, he was ambushed and left unconscious in the ruined temple. After being rescued, everything went his way, and he became a crown prince who could lie flat.
