You Were Supposed to Be a Hero of Liangshan, Yet You Rode a Tiger to Seize the Throne

I transmigrated into Water Margin and somehow became Wu Song, the hero who slew a tiger! Gifted by Heaven with a Beast-Taming System, I can now communicate with all beasts.

From the start, I tame the white-fronted tiger with round eyes on Jingyang Ridge.

Riding my giant spirit tiger, I roam the vast forests. One roar from the tiger and every beast submits. With the System’s power to raise and train beasts, I build one astonishing beast-spirit army after another:

Steel-Tusk Corps: Wild boars charge into battle, smashing cities and breaking fortresses;

Elephant-Armored Corps: Giant elephants form ranks, flattening every place they tread;

Bear Corps: Black bears rend mountains and rivers with their paws, their might stretching for thousands of miles;

Tiger-and-Leopard Cavalry: Swift as lightning, they slay their enemies without a trace.

People say, “If the Jurchen number less than ten thousand, they’re manageable. Once they reach ten thousand, they’re invincible.” But today, I, Wu Erlang, can rout ten thousand troops with just myself and a tiger!

Bring on the Jurchen cavalry, the Mongol curved blades, or the Western Xia iron hawks. Before my army, they’re all withered wood and dead grass, collapsing at the slightest touch!

As war engulfs the land, I build a fleet of beast-spirit ships. Giant whales guide the way and drag fishing nets, feeding countless people.

I seize Liangshan and lay the foundations for an unprecedented empire;

I defeat Fang La and bring peace to the misty rain of Jiangnan;

I enter Bianliang, marry the most beautiful imperial princess, and claim a life of boundless pleasure.

Then I lead my army across the world:

Destroy the Jin and Liao, and trample the grasslands!

Pacify Western Xia and Dali, until the fires of war consume every frontier!

Subdue the Baiyue and claim the myriad islands of the South Seas!

Cross to Fusang and make the Land of the Rising Sun part of Han territory!

Let elephants trample Tianzhu, bringing the Buddhist kingdoms into our realm!

Let tigers roar across the Western Regions, keeping the Silk Road open forever!

Colonize the South Seas and Australia, and open up thousands of miles of maritime frontier!

Set sail for the new lands of the Americas and establish a foundation for oceanic expansion!

March west to Rome, and make the whole world our domain!

From then on, above and below the heavens, only China reigns!

Within the four seas, there is no land that is not Chinese; wherever the people live, all are subjects of the Han!
