A Pure Reincarnation

[No System + not a power fantasy + closed-loop xuanhuan + epic ensemble cast. High-octane throughout, with relentless emotional gut punches. No harem or womanizing, no one-shotting opponents above your level. Follow an ancient-text restorer as he breaks the cycle-prison that has held the universe captive for 120,000 years.]

Others cultivate by merging with the laws of reincarnation. They live longer and longer, forget more and more, and ultimately become fuel for the prison.

Only I, Chen Yan, an ancient-text restorer from beyond the closed loop, can remember every truth erased by reincarnation, every piece of history rewritten, every sacrifice buried.

Every 129,000 years, the cycle begins anew, and the entire universe repeats the same stretch of time forever.

The refuge built by the Primordial Civilization became an eternal prison. The Creator revered by the sects had long since perished in the cycle. The ascension everyone yearned for was merely a trap set by the Cycle Keepers to select their puppets.

Everyone tells me to keep my head down and survive inside the prison. Beyond the closed loop, they say, there is only destruction.

But I have witnessed countless cycles, the souls whose sense of self was worn away, and the dead who kept giving their lives for freedom.

The path I cultivate is not the Path of Reincarnation, but the Path of Purity. What I mend is not a fragmentary scripture, but a twisted fate and an entire civilization held captive.

From a dying outer-sect disciple in the Southern Wastes, to a breaker of the cycle, and finally a beacon for civilization who sacrifices himself.

This time, I will lead every being trapped in reincarnation out to see the true starry sky.
