Great Tang: I Held a Blade to Li Shimin's Throat and Forced Him to Rebel!

In the ninth year of Wude, on the eve of the Xuanwu Gate Incident, Li Shimin was still wavering.

The male protagonist transmigrated into the body of thirteen-year-old Crown Prince Li Chengqian. He kicked open the door and tossed the heads of Li Jiancheng and Li Yuanji at Li Shimin’s feet.

“Dad, if you won’t rebel, then I’ll do it myself!”

The officials of the entire court saw the blood-soaked thirteen-year-old, looking like a god of slaughter, and dropped to their knees, trembling in fear.

They thought the Tang Dynasty was about to get the most ruthless and brutal emperor in history. But as soon as the crisis passed, Li Chengqian went into full-on slacker mode.

“Become emperor? That rotten job isn’t fit for a dog. I’m going to my fiefdom to live as a carefree prince!”

To get himself stripped of his title as crown prince, he cultivated the image of an utterly reckless brute. One day he led troops to raid the Boling Cui clan; the next, he set up a pyramid scheme and swindled the Turkic khagan out of his entire fortune.

Every day, Li Shimin was so furious with this unfilial son that he stomped around the palace, chasing him with the imperial seal and shouting, “You little rebel, you’re ascending the throne today whether you like it or not!”

In their hilarious battle of wits, with one desperately trying to run away and the other insisting on handing over the throne, the once battered and broken Tang Dynasty was somehow propelled toward becoming an empire on which the sun never set, thanks to Li Chengqian’s modern-day technological superiority!
