Ruyi's Royal Love in the Palace: The Twin Phoenixes Take Flight

Two modern girls transmigrate into the world of Ruyi's Royal Love in the Palace at the same time.

One is Hailan, a liberal arts student who has watched the show and knows everyone's fate: Ruyi will cut off her hair and be deposed, Jin Yuyan will manipulate others into killing for her, and Hailan herself will die alone. The other is Lin Xiaoyue, a history student who knows Qing Dynasty history. She transmigrates as Gao Xiyue, who will die of illness in the tenth year of Qianlong's reign, and she doesn't want to die.

In the prince's residence, they suspect one another and watch each other in secret, until a small note folded into a square lets them recognize each other. They also discover a modern pharmacy hidden inside a box, stocked with fever reducers, anti-inflammatory drugs, painkillers, vitamins, and more, with an unlimited supply. The medicine can only be used by the transmigrators themselves and their immediate family members.

Their goal is simple: survive, and live well. They want Hailan's son Yongqi to grow up healthy, and they want to make it to the end in this deep palace.

From the prince's residence to the Forbidden City, from palace maids to imperial consorts, from being looked down on to helping manage the Six Palaces. They face the Empress's wariness, the Empress Dowager's tests, Jin Yuyan's plots, and Ruyi's estrangement. They must watch out for poisoned prescriptions from the Imperial Medical Institute, dirty tricks in the Imperial Kitchen, safflower hidden in calming incense, and traps in tonics. Every step is like walking on thin ice, and every day is fraught with anxiety.

But they are not alone. In this deadly palace, they are each other's only support.
