Great Qin: From the Start, I Assassinate the Emperor, Who Begs Me to Become His Chancellor

Lin Huang transmigrates to Bolangsha in Great Qin, becoming a death warrior sent by the remnants of the Six Kingdoms to assassinate the First Emperor. Thinking he’s doomed, Lin Huang immediately switches into “acting mode” and betrays his teammates. Lin Huang: “Your Majesty, I was actually trying to shield you from the arrow. No one in the world understands you better than I do.” Ying Zheng: “Excellent! I need a personal bodyguard. You’re the one.” Lin Huang had meant to coast through life, occasionally making sarcastic remarks. But who could have guessed that teaching Fusu a little “special operations” would let Fusu sweep across the Xiongnu? He casually mentions “potatoes,” and from then on Great Qin never suffers famine again. He kills a few corrupt officials one night, and the entire court mistakes him for the “Divine Slayer Who Protects the Empire.” Li Si: “The talents of Chancellor Lin are without parallel throughout history. This old man cannot compare!” Zhao Gao: “If Lin Huang isn’t eliminated, Great Qin will surely flourish. But damn it, I can’t kill him!” Ying Zheng: “Lin Huang, the position of chancellor is yours and yours alone. Who approves, and who objects?” Lin Huang thinks to himself: I really only wanted to carry out assassinations. How did all of Great Qin come to see me as their savior?
