Ode to the Mountains and Rivers: The Commoner Returns to the Imperial Court

A modern business elite dies unexpectedly and transmigrates into the body of Shen Jingchen, a seven-year-old boy from a poor family in the Great Yin Dynasty.

His family is dirt poor, his relatives bully him, war rages beyond his door, and the court is in turmoil.

Relying on the knowledge he brought from his past life, he advances carefully through one desperate situation after another, protecting his neighbors, driving back powerful enemies, and making a name for himself in the imperial examinations. He plays the pig to eat the tiger and stirs up the world.

Corrupt officials close in, princes fight for power, and the realm teeters on the brink of collapse.

See how this commoner uses his own strength to save a collapsing dynasty, return to the imperial court, and compose an epic of the land.
