While global streamers scream and flee through The Abyssal Corridor, Su Xiaoxiao’s stream has a very different vibe. “Thanks for the rocket, boss! Next up, I’ll tear the Chainsaw Butcher apart with my bare hands. Type 1 if you want to see it in stages!”
While others are chased by ghosts, she’s raking in donations. While others solve puzzles, she’s haggling with the chat. Then, just as her audience tops a million, a blood-red notice from the System appears: [Logout has been disabled. If viewer satisfaction falls below 50%, your connection to reality will be severed permanently.]
The chat explodes: [Is this for real?!] [Streamer, run!] But Su Xiaoxiao just grins. “Guys, want to see something even more thrilling?”
“How about I turn this lousy game into our very own livestream?”
From then on, the horror game has a monster streamer. She uses the chat as a shield, trades donations for powerful gear, and treats the bosses as part of the show. Until she discovers that the top donor on the leaderboard has the ID #Admin_01#, while the three most vicious comments in the chat come from beta tester accounts that the System’s records say “died three years ago.”
