Jiang Ci was woken by a notification announcing the launch of Epoch.
It was an immersive virtual game that claimed everything in it was completely random.
Some people got the Eternal Life trait from the start and were no longer bound by their lifespan.
Some got the Fate Foretold trait, receiving prompts for every move they made.
Some got the Simulator trait, allowing them to run unlimited simulations.
Some got the Proof of Immortality trait, guaranteeing that they would become a Supreme God.
Jiang Ci spent a thousand yuan on a gaming pod, just to escape his mundane life.
After entering the game, he drew his race and traits. Fate gave him the least remarkable option: human.
And two equally unremarkable traits.

At last, they understood: so-called miracles were nothing more than an ordinary person using time to forge himself into eternity.
Epochs changed, and all living beings rose and fell. Only the diligent scholar stood atop the ages.

It's good to read, but it feels like a continuation of the previous one. I hope both books have more content.
