“Lin Ye, profession awakened: blank-slate mage!”
The announcement from the stage was met with laughter from the entire crowd.
A clan elder shook his head. “No elemental affinity. He can’t even conjure a spark. What a disgrace!”
Lin Ye silently took the staff, when suddenly a prompt sounded in his mind:
[Ding! Skill “Fireball” learned successfully, ]
[Warning! Your Fireball has developed a consciousness!]
The next moment, a little flame sprang from his palm, planted its hands on its hips, and roared:
“You useless Host! With your mana, even I have more potential when I’m burning!”
Lin Ye: “…My skill has become sentient?”
