Synopsis

[Rikkai Dai's three-peat + no romance + everyone dotes on the hero + slight shade toward Seigaku + friendly toward Hyotei + the male lead isn't invincible or exceptionally strong]

Fujiwara Takumi is born into the world of Prince of Tennis and spends thirteen years as an ordinary grade-schooler. Then, in August of this year, a newspaper hits him in the face: [The King, Rikkai Dai, is aiming for a third consecutive national title!]

Looking at the picture of Yukimura Seiichi smiling gently, Takumi remembers his past life, when he watched the anime from his hospital bed.

He remembers that final.

He remembers the “Child of God,” still smiling after losing.

The next day, he picks up a tennis racket.

A month or two later, he walks through the gates of Rikkai Dai with a tennis bag on his back.

Then he sees it with his own eyes: Akaya Kirihara, Rikkai Dai's future ace, perched on the school sign and shouting, “I'm going to be number one in the country!”

A black-faced upperclassman yells him down, and Kirihara blurts out, “Good morning, teacher!”

Takumi: “…”

The vibe of this world seems a little different from what he imagined.

A silver-haired boy who's aloof on the outside but has a running commentary in his head meets a group of eccentric genius teammates:

A sickly but scheming captain, a stern vice-captain who fiercely protects his own, a data fanatic, a trickster, and that seaweed-haired kid who gets fooled every day and never learns.

He knows everyone's fate.

He knows Yukimura will fall ill, and that their three-peat will be shattered.

But he's only been playing tennis for two months.

This time, he doesn't want to just “feel sorry about it.”

But first, could his teammates please stop being so ridiculous?

The Prince of Tennis, Set at Rikkai. It Must Be Rikkai, with No Female Lead

I can only read stories where Rikkai wins three consecutive national championships and sixteen consecutive Kanto championships. If those aren't included, please don't recommend it to me. No female lead. No female lead. Two male leads or no romance are both fine.

I'm a huge Rikkai fan, so I'd love the best stories about Rikkai. Of course, other schools are fine too; I'm basically a fan of the whole cast.

Any New Prince of Tennis Fics With Good Writing? I’m a Rikkai Fan!

Looking for books like "The Prince of Tennis: The Child of God and His Divine Messenger." I really love these and want stories with two male leads or no CP. I don't want plots that are painfully awkward. The original Seigaku team being ridiculously overpowered is too much. I'm so out of books lately!! I've already finished everything I can stand, and the rest are still updating.
