Overhead, reference from historical background
In the eighth year of Xining in the Northern Song Dynasty, Bianliang City.
This is a capital city that is so prosperous that it makes people dizzy - the Imperial Street is wide enough to accommodate hundreds of horses running parallel to each other, the Zhouqiao Bridge is filled with people day and night, and the music and music in the Fan Tower are non-stop all night long. But deep in the alley where the lights cannot shine, in the shadow of the bridge, there are other people living:
Sun San'er, sixteen years old, makes a living selling snowflake cakes in Zhouqiao. He earns twenty cash a day and buys his mother a piece of cooking cake with sesame seeds. Mrs. Li, who has been selling fried lung for twenty-three years, raises her eldest son Li Qi alone and leaves a bowl of hot soup for the old beggar at the end of the alley after closing the stall every day. Lao He, no one knows He said that he used to be a book engraver, but because he carved banned books, he was reduced to this, and could only secretly carve the word "dream" on the wall; and Xing'er, Mrs. Zhang, Old Man Ma... They were the most inconspicuous people in Bianliang City, like gravel at the bottom of the river, carried by the torrent of the times, without knowing where to go.
These little people meet by the state bridge. They live, love, struggle, and leave their own traces in the shadow of history. But what they don't know is that thirty years later, the Jingkang Incident will crush all of this, and the city they have spent their whole lives rooting for will eventually become a residual dream in their memory.
But on this morning, the sun rises as usual, the lungs need to be fried, the snacks need to be sold, the relatives have to say, and the dreams have to be made.
I would like to dedicate this article to those people who have not left their names in the long history.
