My Fox Fairy Sister

Bai Yuhong, the Nine-Tailed Fox Venerable, has guarded the boundary between the two realms for eight thousand years with her crimson, sky-burning flames.

Cool and proud, she has endured eternal solitude.

Then, amid the chaos over the Phoenix Core, she meets a human child named Xuan Yun, only five years old and pure of heart.

Soft-spoken, earnest, and looking up at her with trust, he becomes her disciple and makes a young but steadfast promise:

“I’ll grow strong, and one day I’ll protect you, Master.”

From then on, the aloof Fox Venerable has a weakness, and someone to care for.

She personally forges his foundation, strengthens his meridians, and shields him from every danger in the world, teaching him all the Burning Heaven arts she has to offer.

Bai Yuli, who looks ten but has lived for five hundred years, gently stays by his side and becomes the little fox sister closest to him.

Together day and night, they grow closer with time.

From protecting one another as master and disciple, to falling deeply in love;

From childhood companions, to tender devotion.

The Demon Realm’s shadow lurks, and conspiracies swirl beneath the surface.

She stands between heaven and earth, dressed in red like fire, her nine tails guarding the world.

“With me here, no one can hurt him.”

When the boy comes of age, they will stand side by side in the flames.

In the end, he will use his mastery of fire to protect her for all eternity, staying true to their first meeting and to this lifetime.
