Timeline: Demon Slayer: Hashira Training Arc
With the battle at Swordsmith Village over, Muichiro regains his memories. His hollow indifference fades, and though the mark has shackled him to a short lifespan, it makes him cherish the bonds he has right in front of him all the more. As the link connecting the nine Hashira, Tanjiro Kamado keenly senses the gentleness hidden beneath the Mist Hashira's quiet nature. The two go from comrades fighting side by side to sharing a mutual crush that neither of them has even noticed.
As the clouds of a great battle gather over the Demon Slayer Corps Headquarters, Kyojuro Rengoku recovers from his injuries aboard the Mugen Train, while Tengen Uzui retires from the front lines to oversee intelligence. The Hashira have already caught sight of the brilliant bond between the boys. They watch knowingly from the sidelines, quietly protecting this rare warmth on the eve of the decisive battle.
They have yet to name what they feel, but instinct keeps drawing them closer. It is the meeting of mist and warm sunlight, a bond that transcends life and death. Before the blood-soaked battle they are destined to face arrives, they take a brief moment to catch their breath and hold on to the fleeting light in each other.
(Please note: Includes Snake x Love, Zenitsu x Inosuke, and Giyu x Shinobu. Nezuko has little screen time. If these pairings aren't for you, please steer clear.)
