Liu Bei: This Body Isn’t Mine Anymore

Modern man Chen Zhe wakes up as the young Liu Bei. His only golden finger is a copy of Records of the Three Kingdoms, Pei Songzhi's annotations included, inside his mind. He thought he could coast to victory and take the realm, but at every pivotal moment in history, the original owner of his body forcibly logs in. All Chen Zhe can do is watch history repeat itself and struggle to survive in the cracks.

Chen Zhe is in control most of the time, handling government affairs, military campaigns, and social interactions. He shares some memories with Liu Bei. Whenever he clashes with a key event recorded in Records of the Three Kingdoms, such as a perilous encounter, a major decision, or recruiting an important figure, the original Liu Bei forcibly takes over, and a faint golden light shimmers around his body.

Chen Zhe: Trapped in a little black room inside his own body, he can only watch through a window and cannot interfere. All he can do is rant furiously to himself.

The original Liu Bei: Completely unaware of the contents of Records of the Three Kingdoms, he believes every decision he makes is guided by instinct.
